How Fountly works
Fountly puts USDG to work in tokenized stock markets on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663). This guide covers what a fount is, how your position earns, where the numbers come from and which contracts you touch.
Overview
Robinhood Chain carries Stock Tokens: onchain tokens that track shares like AAPL, TSLA or SPY. People trade them against USDG, a dollar stablecoin, in Uniswap V3 pools. Each trade pays a fee to the liquidity inside the pool.
Fountly gives you three tools around those pools. Founts let you supply liquidity and earn the fees. Trade swaps at the better of KyberSwap and Uniswap V3. Signals scores each market so you can size a position with the numbers in front of you.
Fountly is non-custodial. Your wallet signs every transaction, your positions are NFTs in your wallet, and the app has no way to move your funds.
Founts
A fount is one Stock Token / USDG pool. When you open a position, Fountly mints a Uniswap V3 liquidity NFT to your address through the official NonfungiblePositionManager. You can open several positions in the same fount with different ranges.
- Pick a fount and read its fee APR, liquidity and distance from Chainlink.
- Choose a range preset or keep the suggested one.
- Enter a USDG amount. Fountly swaps the part the range needs into the Stock Token, then mints the position.
- Collect fees whenever you like, or withdraw the position back into both tokens.
A deposit from USDG needs up to five signatures: approve USDG for the router, swap, approve the Stock Token and USDG for the position manager, mint. Approvals you already gave are skipped.
Ranges
Uniswap V3 liquidity only earns while the pool price sits between your lower and upper price. Inside the range, your position holds both tokens and earns fees. Above the range it holds only USDG, below it only the Stock Token, and it earns nothing until the price returns.
Fountly offers three presets. Tight concentrates capital and earns the most per dollar while in range. Balanced is sized from the stock's realised volatility over the last day. Wide stays in range longest and earns the least per dollar.
Concentrated liquidity carries price exposure. If the stock falls through your range you end up holding more of it, and a round trip of the price can leave you with less value than holding the tokens would have.
Fees and APR
Each pool charges a fixed fee tier on every swap: 0.05%, 0.3% or 1%. The whole fee goes to in-range liquidity in proportion to its share. Fountly takes no cut from founts you open today.
Fee APR takes the fees a pool paid over the last 24 hours, divides them by the liquidity in the pool and annualises the result. It leaves out price moves and gas, and one busy day can inflate it. Treat it as a reading of recent activity, not a forecast.
Fountly indexes swap events from the chain itself and prices them in USDG, then checks the USDG price against its Chainlink feed.
Trade routing
When you enter a trade, Fountly requests a KyberSwap aggregator route and a Uniswap V3 quote from QuoterV2 at the same time. It lists both, marks the one that returns more, and lets you choose.
Your slippage setting sets the minimum you accept. If the pool moves past it before your transaction lands, the trade reverts and only gas is spent. Fountly adds no fee to trades.
Safeguards
Simulation first. Before your wallet opens, Fountly estimates the transaction from your address against the latest block. If it would revert, you see the reason instead of a wallet prompt.
Chainlink as a reference. Stock Token feeds on Robinhood Chain follow a 24/5 schedule. Fountly shows each pool's distance from its feed and flags a stale feed. Managed vaults will refuse deposits and rebalances while a feed is stale.
Verify anything. Every pool, token, router and transaction links to Blockscout. The contracts below are Uniswap's official Robinhood Chain deployments.
Stock Tokens are tokenised debt securities issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited. They carry no ownership of the referenced shares and are not available to U.S. persons.
$FONT
$FONT launches together with Fountly's managed vaults. Vaults will split the swap fees they claim: 70% stays with depositors, 10% covers protocol operations and 20% buys $FONT on the open market and burns it.
Contract address: launch soon. The only official source for it is this site and @fountly on X.

Roadmap
- Live now. Founts, two-router trading, signals, portfolio and transfers, status checks.
- With $FONT. Managed vaults that reposition ranges, the fee split and buyback, then lending against vault shares.
- After review. The top-fee basket and delta-neutral founts, followed by limit and TWAP orders.
